Our Beliefs

We believe there is one God, and He is Holy (separate, good, perfect, and true).
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, God Himself and the one who saves the world.
We believe that people were created to have a close relationship with God.
We believe that everyone has done things that go against God's loving will for us (sin).
We believe that sin breaks our relationship with God.
We believe that Jesus willingly suffered the consequence of our sin by dying in our place so that our sins can be forgiven.  He then rose from the dead, proving his power over sin, hell, and death.
We believe that because of this we can have a new life, a fresh start, and the relationship with God that we were created for.
We believe that if you accept this as true, then the only appropriate response is to confess your sin to God, accept his forgiveness, and embrace a new life as a follower of Jesus.
We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers people to follow Jesus and that following him includes getting to know him, becoming like him, developing meaningful relationships with other followers, serving in the mission to share His story with others and invite them to follow Jesus, and showing his love in tangible ways to the world around us.
